M-am mutat

Pentru ca in ultima vreme am avut foarte multe probleme cu wordpress-ul mi-am calcat pe inima si mi-am luat un domeniu platit de pe Blogway, deci de acum inainte pentru cei interesati eu scriu aici: www.andreeasbookclub.ro

Noi aparitii

Daca ati citit primul volum din seria Nemuritorii – Evermore de Alyson Noel, iata ca si volumul al doilea este disponibil. Luna albastra poate fi cumparata de pe site-ul editurii Rao la pretul de 35,99 lei.

O alta carte asteptata este Puterea celor sase de Pittacus Lore (continuarea volumului Eu sunt numarul patru) carte aparuta la editura Nemira. Acest al doilea volum este disponibil pe site la pretul promotional de 25,94 lei.

La colet

A trecut ceva vreme de cand nu am mai postat nimic la aceasta rubrica asa ca iata m-am intors cu noutati.

Mi-am luat revista “Libertatea pentru femei” cu urmatoarele carti: Luminile sudului de Danielle Steel si O noua viata de Mary Jo Putney.

De la Leda mi-am luat: Perfect de S. Shepard, Carpe Corpus de R.Caine si Patimi de sucub de R. Mead.

Iar de pe Margelatu mi-am cumparat cateva bijuterii (chiar daca nu sunt carti tot la colet au venit) – o pereche de cercei cu perle, o brosa camee si un ceas cu lant si bufnita (la care ravneam de multa vreme).

Recenzie:

 

Lilith St. Crow este o binecunoscuta autoare americana de urban fantasy pentru publicul adult (Dante Valentine, Jill Kismet, The Society si The Watcher). Aceasta serie Strange Angels, este prima dedicata publicului adolescent si publicata sub pseudonimul Lili St. Crow.

Dru Anderson este o adolescenta ce a dus pana in prezent o viata agitata si nu tocmai normala alaturi de tatal sau. Schimband frecvent casa si scoala, nu a reusit niciodata sa se apropie cu adevarat de cineva de varsta ei, in plus lumea in care traieste cu adevarat Dru este mult diferita de ca a adolescentilor normali. Tatal ei este un vanator de creaturi supranaturale, iar Dru este „secundul” sau. Insa intr-o zi ca oricare alta viata i se schimba dramatic, tatal ei pierde in fata monstrilor, iar Dru trebuie sa se descurce pe cont propriu, insa nimic nu este simplu cand pe urmele tale ai o multime de creaturi supranaturale si atat de putini aliati.

Acum vorbind despre impresia pe care mi-a creat-o mie lectura acestui prim volum, in fine la inceput am avut senzatia unui deja vu; un tata ce vaneaza creaturi supranaturale si strabate America de-a lungul si de-a latul insotit de copilul sau, o sotie ucisa in conditii misterioase a carei moarte a starnit interesul sotului pentru vanatoarea de monstrii, tatal moare si copilul ramane sa se lupte cu malefica creatura – toate astea m-au dus cu gandul la serialul Supranatural, insa asemanarea se opreste aici. Daca nu sunteti fanatici dupa originalitate, cartea o sa vi se para foarte incitanta, insa daca sunteti ceva mai pretentiosi, atunci este o carte plina de actiune care nu te lasa sa te plictisesti, dar cam atat.

Mie mi-a placut destul de mult, desi nu pot spune ca m-a luat prin surprindere cu ceva anume.
